This is a precision made part for a tight fit when biting into a End Cap / Gland this prevents slipping
If too much force is applied the pins may break or damage to the cap can occur.
If you need more leverage we incorporated a 1/2 Socket for a breaker bar.
Be careful when removing as some caps require heat before they move

Needed this specific tool for the repair job on my boat's tilt/trim hydraulic cylinder seals. Worked perfectly on removing the end caps of the cylinders. Saved over $350 with this tool.
This tool worked perfectly to remove the old Seastar cylinder seals and reinstall the new Five Star Marine seals. High quality tool which does not slip like a 2 pin wrench does and having the square drive in the handle is perfect for getting extra force on the wrench since the space is typically quite tight and depending on where the wrench sits when engaged in the gland holes you will likely need the extra leverage
