These rods are designed for the Marine Environment. We use a High End 316 Stainless Double Chrome Plated for a long durable finish and far exceeds the OEM.
You will notice that the OEM rods in salt water tend to pit and corrode. We spend the extra money when we are producing any and all of our products to ensure they last in the most demanding environment.
We produce these rods because of the volume of rebuilds we do as it helps us control our quality of every unit we rebuild as they all come with a 2 Year Warranty
